HARD BAR, SPORT BAR OR M2 HARD CORE HARDTOP :

You do NOT need to remove the roll bar to install the harness bar.
Remove: inboard parts of the interior trim panels on either side of the package tray, the 2 vertical bolts going into the top of the seat belt tower through the seat belt tab of the bar and the spacers under the tab by sliding them out from under the tab to the inside. Do not remove the relocated shoulder harness guide pivot bolts that fasten to the bar. Slide the shorter spacers supplied with the harness bar in place of the ones you just removed. Reinstall the plastic trim panel but do not install the fasteners in the side of the panel. Put the harness bar in place between the shorter spacer and the seat belt tab of the bar. IF REQUIRED, install the supplied 7/16" washer(s) as needed to fill in the gap between the flange of the harness bar and the seat belt tab on the roll bar. Reinstall the bolts in the top of the seat belt tower and the fasteners for the trim panels on the sides.

M2 HARD CORE BAR:

Remove the plastic covers from the shoulder harness guides (they just snap off) ,loosen the bolts and remove the spacers from the bolt. If your car is so equipped, remove the windblocker. If not, remove the screws securing the plastic trim panels to the sides of the seat belt towers. Replace the stock shoulder harness guide spacers with the ones supplied with the bar, put the harness bar in place and reinstall the stock bolts with the shoulder harness guide. Install the fasteners back into the sides of the seat belt towers.
